Job Description: HR Intern at FunctionUp

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate the recruitment cycle, including job posting, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
Utilize various sourcing methods such as online job boards, social media, and networking channels to identify potential candidates.
Manage logistics for interviews, including coordination of schedules and communication with candidates about the process.
Execute preliminary phone screenings to evaluate candidates' qualifications and compatibility with the role.
Support the onboarding of new hires by handling necessary paperwork and leading orientation sessions.
Engage in employee relations tasks, responding to inquiries and resolving concerns in a timely manner.
Maintain HR records and databases with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Aid in the crafting and execution of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Participate in and contribute to HR projects and strategic initiatives.
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR department, ensuring efficient operation.

Qualifications:

Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
A pronounced interest in developing a career within human resources.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
A commitment to confidentiality and the ethical handling of sensitive information.
Strong organizational prowess and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Previous experience in HR or recruitment is advantageous but not mandatory.
