Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, and assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures
2. Ensure implementation of HR policy and manage revisions in HR policy as and when required
3. Oversee the maintenance, communication, and destruction of personnel records as required by law including local governing bodies
4. Plan, monitor, and implement employee performance appraisal on a set schedule
5. Resolve grievances regarding employee appraisals; provide counseling to employees and supervisors as needed and appropriate
6. Ensure induction training for new joiners and proper enrollment process
7. Look after the joining formalities, exit formalities, and FNF settlement
8. Ensure exit interview by HOD and HR department to get the feedback
9. Keep records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting
10. Coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment
11. Prepare budget of human resources operations
