Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
Take over job postings, activate searches on hiring forums and social media platforms for different job titles and job types, and help with creating job alerts.
Screen potential employees' resumes, go through their application forms and figure out the most suitable candidates for a vacancy. Avoid any biases in the processes, such as past experience,
sexual orientation, and gender identity biases, among others, to ensure the company remains anequal opportunity employer.
Assist in onboarding activities such as preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientation
sessions, and setting up employee files.
Assist in performance management activities such as tracking performance evaluations, preparing performance reports, and assisting in the implementation of performance improvement plans.
Assist in new policy drafting or review of existing policies, recommend changes and support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Assist in employee relations activities such as responding to employee inquiries, maintaining
employee records, and supporting the HR team in handling employee issues.
Assist in HR administration activities such as preparing HR reports, maintaining HR databases
Assist in various HR projects as assigned by the HR team.
Provide administrative support to HR business partners and managers.
