IITB Project Recruitment: Project title: Statistical learning of high throughput calculations for experimental realization of Heusler alloys as stable mid-temperature thermoelectrics. About the project: Performing large-scale first principles-based high throughput calculations of topological Heusler compounds in order to study the spin-orbit coupling driven effects in their transport coefficients.

Essential Qualifications & Experience: MSc (Physics)/ MTech (Materials Science/ Applied physics) Candidates with a strong background in quantum mechanics, solid-state physics, and c++/ python programming are encouraged to apply.

Job Profile: Performing large-scale first principles-based high throughput calculations of topological Heusler compounds in order to study the spin-orbit coupling driven effects in their transport coefficients.

Pay Details: Consolidated salary Rs.31000 p.m.
