About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Handling customer calls and emails
2. Monitoring event alerts and notifying the concerned team
3. Processing the requests from the end-users to level 2 and level 3 support engineers
4. Monitoring the availability of the database events like DB availability, instant availability, and the space availability of disk drives and file systems
5. Monitoring the application and DB alert logs files, transaction logs, and backup logs
6. Monitoring the database-related activities, responding to calls from the application support and development teams
7. Monitoring the backups and recovery errors and responding to the request regarding the restoration of the DB
8. Monitoring the metric alerts, performance-related issues like high CPU utilization, application performance, high memory utilization, application tuning, and query tuning
9. Acknowledging the request for DB stop/start, user creation, and grant-specific data access to the user
10. Working on server and application monitoring for DevOps
11. Automating incident management
12. Working on application performance monitoring solutions
13. Working on application performance management (APM) & server monitoring

3. are available for duration of 6 months
