Lab Technician/Technical Supervisor /Counsellor job Position in West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti on purely contractual engagement basis

1. Lab Technician. Integrated Counselling and Testing Centre (WBSAP&CS) / Number of vacancy : 5 (OBC A-1, SC-03, ST-01)

Essential criteria 1. Graduate in Medical laboratory Technology (B.Sc.); with minimum 1 year experience after graduation. OR Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT); with minimum 2years' experience after Diploma 2. Working knowledge of Computer

Upper age limit : 60 Years

Remuneration : Rs. 13,000/- (Monthly Consolidated)

2. Technical Supervisor, Blood Banks (NHM) Number of vacancy : 01-ST

Essential criteria : 1) Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biological Science before obtaining Diploma or Degree 2) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)/Diploma in Laboratory Techniques (DLT) from any university/institution recognized by the Central or State Government OR Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (131-MT) from any university/ institution recognized by the Central or State Government OR

Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (M. Sc in MLT/PGDMLT) from any university/institution recognized by the Central or State Government 3) Working Knowledge of Computers

Desirable Experience : 1) One-year post qualification experience in Blood Component Separation Unit of candidates having M. Sc in MLT/PGDMLT/BMLT/DMLT/DLT 2) a) Six months post qualification experience in the testing of blood and or preparation of blood components (in a Licensed Blood Bank) in case of candidates having M. Sc in MLT/PGDMLT/ BMLT) b) One-year post qualification experience in the testing of Blood and or preparation of Blood components (in a licensed Blood Bank) in case of candidates having DMLT/DLT

Upper age limit : 40 Years

Remuneration : Rs. 17,220/- (Monthly Consolidated)

3. Counsellor, Blood Banks (NHM) / Number of vacancy : 01(ST-01)

Essential criteria :1) Master's/Post Graduate degree in Psychology/Social Work/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Human Development from any Institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government

2) Working Experience of Computer

Desirable Experience : One Year Experience in blood banking counselling in any Licensed Blood Bank or other medical counselling after obtaining essential qualification

Upper age limit : 40 Years

Remuneration : Rs. 13,200/- (Monthly Consolidated)

4. Kala-Azar Technical Supervisor, NVBDCP (NHM) / 03 (UR- 01, ST-01, OBC-A-1)

Essential criteria : 1) Science Graduate with Biology as a paper 2) Candidate must be sound in health & capable of extensive field work. 3) Candidate must have valid two-wheeler driving license.

Desirable Qualification : Health Supervisor/Assistant has additional weightage

Age : 50 to 62 Years

Remuneration : Rs. 10,500/- (Monthly Consolidated for retired Govt. employee) / Rs. 17720

The Health & Family Welfare Department of the State Government has been vested with the responsibility of maintaining and developing the health care system in West Bengal. State provides financial and managerial support for the basic health care support and infrastructural facilities at the rural level, while the State level super specialty Medical Colleges & Hospitals predominantly provides the ambulatory care services.
