Job Description

The National Institute of Technology Karmataka, Surathkal (NITK) is looking for young, dynamic, tech-savwy, highly motivated and committed fresh Graduates or Post - Graduates in Library & Information Science from recognized Indian universities to serve as Library Apprentice Trainees purely on a temporary basis for a period of 11 Months.

1. Post Name: Library Apprentice Trainees

2. Nature of Traineeship: Learn while you work on different functions &services of the library

3. Duration: The duration of traineeship will be for Eleven Months

4. Remuneration: Consolidated Stipend of Rs.15,000/- per month.

5. The selected candidates will have to work six days a week and shall work in different shifts and on weekends on rotation basis.

6. Number of Vacancies: Three (3 Nos).

7. Minimum Qualification: MLISc.I BLISc. From a recognized University

Age Limit:

Below 35 years as on 31st, December 2021.
