Infectious Disease Detection And Surveillance (IDDS) Is a Five-year United States Agency For International Development (USAID) Funded Project With The Following Overall Objectives

Institutional strengthening of the public-sector network of TB laboratories to improve the quality and efficiencies of the TB diagnostics care cascade in NTEP
Demonstrating private sector laboratory engagement for TB diagnostic care cascade
Supporting the CTD in the design and implementation of research on new TB diagnostics and tools
Supporting the laboratories/laboratory networks (through the National Centre for Disease Control-NCDC) to strengthen AMR detection and surveillance

Program Coordinator Responsibilities

Collect laboratory-related data directly from sites and follow up on any trouble shooting needed.
Support development and submission of periodic project reports, reviews, deliverables, and M&E data.
Facilitate the sector specialist in collating processed information and doing content writing for the deliverable documents.
Ensure project adheres to framework and that all documentation is maintained appropriately for each activity.
Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective and maintain and monitor project milestones, deliverable due dates, and project schedules, using Jira. Ensure project deadlines are met, and document any delay justifications.
Organize, conduct, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings and workshops.
Facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members and stakeholders.
Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
Document minutes of meetings and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
Work closely with all sector specialists and consultants as assigned.
Assess project issues and provide solutions where applicable.
Ensure work hours are tracked and regular team meetings held and documented.
Provide administrative support as needed.
Undertake other project tasks as required.

Basic Qualifications

Master's degree in public health, management, statistics, or related field of study
2 years of experience coordinating health systems strengthening programs
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
Ability to collect and manage data, collating analyzed content together
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data for decision making
Strong English written, oral, and presentation skills
Demonstrated interpersonal skills in facilitation and stakeholder engagement and coordination
Exceptional presentation, content writing and documentation skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Willingness and ability to travel as needed
Ability to work on tight deadlines
