Job Description

Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (TIFR),Mumbai hereby invites applicants for “Walk-in-Interview” for one position of Project Scientific Assistant- B (SC) for Junior Science Olympiad at HBCSE.

1. Post Name: Project Scientific Assistant- B : 1- Position (Sc)

2. Job Description: The candidate will be involved in development and standardization of challenging experiments in various disciplines of science. He/ she will also be assisting the Junior Science Olympiad cell members in various other activities and organization of the programmes.

3. Minimum Qualification & Experience:

(a) The candidate should have a full time B.Sc. (in any stream of Science) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.

(b) The candidate should have basic knowledge of computers including office software such as Word and Excel.

(c) Freshers can apply

4. Desirable: The candidate should have proficiency in English. One year relevant job experience or a relevant post-graduate degree. Prior experience of writing reports, articles; and work experience in a laboratory in educational institutions or industry.

5. Note: Candidates who have already attended the interview twice before for the said post in the Junior Science Olympiad Cell will not be considered. The applicant will not be entitled for Institute provided accommodation.

6. A consolidated monthly honorarium of Rs. 48,500/- (inclusive of HRA Rs. 7,600/-) will be paid.
