Purchase cum Admin jobs in Kolkata at Ideal Career Zone

About client company: An ISO 9001, 2008 & BIS certified organisation , located at Kolkata , West Bengal. They have a state of the art facility to manufacture transformers up to 10 MVA 33 kV class.

They have an in-house Copper conductor manufacturing unit with 80% captive consumption requirement, which provides them an edge over our peers as it reduces our lead time & production costs significantly. Apart from our transformer & copper business, they have trading division with interest in different types of Steel & Transformer Oil.

Purchase cum Admin:

· Purchasing of Materials and monitoring requisitions from factory. Developing vendor pool to cater purchase requirements.

· Issuance of Purchase Orders, coordination with Vendors, rate negotiations, checking Proforma Invoices from vendors and reconciliation with PO/requisition and check final purchase invoices (item and party-wise) with order details. To handle complete Contract Management.

· Coordinate with Finance for prioritising vendor payments and approvals.

· Vendor Performance Evaluation.
· Release of payments to vendors in cash/cheques. Managing overall bank payments/ deposits and overall cash management.

· Maintenance of attendance and preparation of monthly Salary & Wages and managing all payments towards the same.

· Liaising with Bank and maintaining correspondences, preparation of monthly stock statement and all other submissions. Maintaining overall banking relations.

· Having worked in the Power engineering Eco-System will be preferred ( manufacturer/ EPC company ) Effective planning and organizing Skills, and effective communication skills.

· Proficient in English. Conversational proficiency in Hindi and any other local language.

· Proficiency in Tally, MS office, internet and other basic computer knowledge.

· Open to travel.
