Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Build business by identifying and selling prospects; and maintaining relationships with clients
2. Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
3. Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommend solutions.
4. Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; and recommending profit and service improvements
5. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
6. Attend initial sales meetings and meet the client
7. Determine a client's business requirements and whether the products being considered are suitable
8. Decide whether the software or hardware needs adapting to meet the client's needs
9. Answer any technical questions the client might have
10. Present your findings to a technical team for action, and then to the client
