Qualification  :  Government, after holding : (a)(i) Analogous posts on regular basis or (ii) With 05 years regular service in posts of level in the matrix, Level-to, RS. Band-3 Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/[ Pre Revised). Essential five years work experience in any of the Central/State Forensic Laboratories. Desirable: Ph.D in Forensic Science/ physics/Chemistry/ Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Botany/ Molecular Biology. (II) For Other than retired officers: Candidates possessing the following educational qualifications and experience i)M.Sc. Degree in Forensic Science/Physics/Chemistry / Toxicology / Genetics / Zoology / Botany / Biochemistry / Molecular 31010gy / Human Biology / Physical d University or equivalent.(ii)Five years analytical work experience in physics / Documents / Ballistics in any of the Central / State Forensic Laboratories as Senior Scientific Officer / Junior Scientific Officer with experience in the investigation at the scenes of crime. OR Five years work experience in Chemistry / Toxicology / Explosives in any Of the Central / State Forensic Laboratories as Senior Scientific Officer / Junior Scientific Officer with experience in the investigation at the scenes of crime. OR Five years work experience in Biology / Serology / DNA / Narcotics in any of the Central / State Forensic Laboratories as Senior Scientific Officer / Junior Scientific Officer with experience in the investigation at the Scenes of crime. Desirable: Ph.D. in the relevant subjects as indicated above.

Age Limit :  The maximum age of the applicant as on 01-01-2020 should not exceed 65 years.
