Job description:

Support the Country Risk Management team in the development, organization and update of Country Risk policies, standards and procedures and in executing Country Risk governance more broadly
Ensure governance initiatives are completed in disciplined and structured way; seek efficiency through innovation where possible
Track and resolve items that impact governance objectives and timelines
Help coordinate the collection of materials to support requests from internal audit, senior management or regulators
Assist in the analysis of legal entity level reporting, including inter-entity transactions
Work together with other risk functions on governance or policies which may apply to specific legal entities
Support mapping of legal obligations to applicable internal documentation
Assist in other Country Risk Management projects as needed, particularly those relating to resolution of data quality and control issues.

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree and work experience in the financial industry
Outstanding listening and negotiation skills as well as being a strong written and verbal communicator
Prior experience in a risk or control function preferred
Effective organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple work streams and processes
Ability to structure and scope complex problems
Team-oriented nature with clear project ownership mentality; ability to work with multiple stakeholders including with Reporting, Technology and Middle Office
Excellent attention to detail and diligent at follow up
Pro-active attitude, intellectually curious, creative and self-motivated
