Your Role and Responsibilities
As a DCIS admin you will be involved in Consults and assists GTS services teams, IBM teams, customer and 3rd party services teams with the setup, configuration and support of Endpoint Monitoring analytics tools and other related information systems.

Responsibilities

• [Transition] Consults and assists GTS services teams, IBM teams, customer and 3rd party services teams with the setup, configuration and support of Endpoint Monitoring analytics tools and other related information systems.
• [Transition] Coordinates the planning & develops the processes required to interlock with various resolver groups for issue & improvement management.
• [Ongoing] Works with GTS services teams, IBM teams, customer and 3rd party services teams to receive, assess, review & analyze reports and data from Endpoint Monitoring analytics tools and other related information systems.
• [Ongoing] Creates/Generate reports from Endpoint Monitoring analytics tools and other related information systems.
• [Ongoing] Analyzes data to identify & document issues and improvements in the form of actionable insights, based on an analysis of the reports & telemetry data provided by Endpoint Monitoring analytics tools and other related information systems.
• [Ongoing] Communicates & discusses recommended actionable insights and issue resolution and improvement activities with the customer, IBM account team, and all the necessary resolver group contacts. Provide clarifications and corrections to all parties as necessary.
• [Ongoing] Receives, reviews & analyzes resolutions plans and actions, provided by resolver groups. Determines if documented resolution plans will address the issue/improvement, and provides feedback, clarifications and corrections where necessary. Provides approvals when appropriate.
• [Ongoing] Provides ongoing suggestions for improvements to Endpoint Monitoring analytics reporting tool parameters, structures, content and frequency.
• [Ongoing] Reviews, re-evaluates, and creates the metrics that the service will focus on.
• [Ongoing] Reviews, updates, and creates new Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) for evaluating the metrics that the service will focus on.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in DCIS Admin
• Should have AC and DC power Power Distribute unit and socket types.
• Preparing the Implementation plan for change Request and implementing the request.
• Knowledge on three phase and single phase AC Power. Power cables types (C13,C14,C15,C19,C20,etc….)
• Power and Colling calculation, SMPS (power supply) and Good understanding on SLA to support client. Ability to trace the Cables and isolate the issues.Cooling Temperature and Air flow
• Cabling, labelling, patching , cable dressing for DC, MDF, IDF and MPOE.
• Knowledge on ISP MUX for cross connection
• Types of serial connectors. Types of coper cables and connectors. Types of fiber cables and connectors and Console servers , MPU , ILO, IPMI , IMM,iPDU
• Good knowledge on Telnet, SHH , FTP, WinSCP, Wireshark and Console server , KVM and PDU
• Firmware upgradation for all DCIS devices.
• Knowledge on Service Now to work on INC,PRJ,CTas ,etc.

• Hands-on Knowledge on DCIS.
• Creating SOPs and documentation. Server Hardening.
• Calculating Risk and solving vulnerabilities.
• Good Knowledge on RCA and Problem Management
