District Youth Coordinators (DYCs)/100 Post

Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent. Desirable: 3 yrs. experience in Youth Activities/Rural Development/Other Social sectors including voluntary work in a reputed organization

Pay Scale : Rs.56100-177500

Age : 28 Yrs as on 1.1.2019

Accounts Clerk cum Typist (ACTs)/73 Post

Qualification : B.com of a recognized university; Or Degree of a recognized university Or equivalent with 2 yrs experience in Accounts work, Typing speed of 30w.p.m in English or 25 w.p.m in Hindi and knowledge of Computer Application. Desirable: (1) Experience of two years as National Service Volunteer (NSV)/RSY orNational Youth Corps (NYC) volunteer (2) PG Degree of RGNIYD in various courses will be an added advantage.

Multi Tasking Staff/52 Post

Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent. Desirable: Worked as NSV/RSY/NYC volunteer for a minimum period of one year. 'Training in Basic and Refresher course' in Home Guard and Civil Defense.

Nehru Yuva Kendras were established in the year 1972 with the objective of providing rural youth avenues to take part in the process of nation building as well providing opportunities for the development of their personality and skills. In the year 1987-88, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan(NYKS) was set up as an autonomous organization under the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, to oversee working of these Kendras. NYKS is the largest grassroots level voluntary organization; one of its kind in the world. It channelizes the power of youth who are in the age group of 13-35 years on the principles of voluntarism, self-help and community participation.
