Position Description
'

Responsible for evaluating clients’ business needs and translating functional requirements into technology solutions in their domain of expertise

Understands current business processes/flows of the customer, and designs and configures modules to develop high quality business solutions

Works with customers during preliminary installations and testing of developed solutions/products and rectifies potential problems

Typically, there are two types of functional consultants: →package functional consultants combine business process knowledge with configuration of the package →functional specialty consultants provide expertise in their domains such as securities, insurance, telecommunication, banking, etc.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Strong experience in IT project management using various development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile & RAD.

Managing projects using Microsoft Technologies and Open source technologies will be added advantage

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure successful delivery

Ability to clearly and professionally communicate with all stake holders

Experience in effective project plans for multiple projects by defining scope, guiding teams on arriving the estimate and publishing status reports daily

Proactive management, Identifying & Reporting Risks and challenges

Ability to guide team to build knowledge repository

Excellent communication, interpersonal and team management skills

Good at CMMI Level V practices, collecting agile metrics and driving teams towards deliver efficiencies

Good experience in coaching and mentoring teams during the project phase, training & guiding team members and building health care domain experts in the organization

Good to have Banking domain experience ; Ready to work from office

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

At least 10 years’ experience of managing delivery within a complex programme context

Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder-management skills

Ability to demonstrate clear leadership and an ability to work effectively with senior Client management

Excellent planning skills (MS-Project)

Rigour in terms of driving towards firm decisions and recording these

Sound judgement as to when to escalate issues, risks, etc.'
