As a Sales Engineer at our surface coating company, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through the promotion and sale of our innovative surface coating solutions. You will serve as the primary point of contact between our technical team and clients, utilizing your technical expertise to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate coating solutions. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, sales acumen, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Consultation:
Conduct thorough technical assessments of client requirements and surface-related challenges.
Collaborate with the technical team to develop tailored coating solutions that meet customer specifications.
Sales and Business Development:
Actively seek out and engage potential clients to understand their needs and present our surface coating products.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Product Knowledge and Training:
Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings.
Provide training and product education to clients, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
Proposal Development:
Prepare and present comprehensive proposals and quotations based on customer requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of proposals.
Customer Support:
Serve as a technical liaison between the customer and internal teams, addressing any technical concerns or challenges.
Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.
Market Intelligence:
Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product development and enhance our competitive position.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats or opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
AUTOCAD knowledge is a must.
Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role, preferably in the surface coating industry.
Strong technical understanding of surface coating processes, materials, and applications.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
