Job Requirements

The Sales Operations Data Specialist is a Sales Operations Team member dedicated to managing and maintaining the data aggregation and load processes for the Sales Operations and Information Technology teams. The incumbent must have expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP will be a plus. The Sales Operations Data Specialist must have a good understanding of back-end IT systems, master data and analytics platforms. This person will work in conjunction with the Sales Operations and Information Technology staff to manage sales reporting data and facilitate related business processes. Responsibilities include ongoing support of data warehouse data loads, sales operations master data management, simple sales operations report creation, data extraction to Excel, and Salesforce.com master data management. The Sales Operations Data Specialist must be able to work independently, with minimal direction but ensure that all work products conform to established process flows and master data integrity is maintained at the highest possible level. This role is critical to grow, support, and govern business intelligence providing insightful reporting and analytics to drive competitive advantage. The individual must interact with people at all levels of the organization. The ability to work from home is required and extended hours may be required when deadlines are critical.

Responsibilities

• Manage data loads into data warehouse.
• Coordinate off-line data extraction, assessment and submission with global business partners.
• Extract, transform and load data from multiple formats into defined standard formats.
• Understand different data warehouse schemas including star, snowflake and data vault.
• Troubleshoot data load errors with business partners and information technology to find the root cause problems and to help resolve the issue.
• Document and train on data loads processes, procedures and formats.
• Manage price list maintenance
• Coordinate and upload customer documentation into customer portals
  

Qualifications

• Minimum:- Four-year degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Candidates from sales background & automotive industry will be preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in creating extract, transform and load scripts in Microsoft SQL and TSQL coding.
• Expert in Microsoft Excel including data pivots and complex manipulation using functions and VBScript.
• One or more years of experience creating extract, transform and load scripts in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Experience extracting and loading data using cloud application api’s such as Salesforce.com or Workday.com.
• Experience extracting and loading data from ERP systems such as SAP.
• Demonstrated process focus.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work in culturally diverse cross-functional teams across business units.

Regional Requirements

• Major interaction will be with the team based out of USA. The incumbent will also need to interact with sales teams in China, India, Europe and South America.
