About The Team

A Horizontal team maintained as a centralized service and shard across the organization specializing in performance testing. It is a core unit that involves standardized performance testing processes, formal metrics, required tools, and expert professionals.

What You Will Be Doing

This position responsible for developing and executing formal performance test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation, performance test execution and analysis of performance test results.

Areas Of Responsibility

What you bring:

6 to 9 years of experience in Performance Testing and exposure to different Performance Testing tools and frameworks
Excellent skills in Performance Testing using JMeter (minimum 3+ years of experience in JMeter); Should be an expert in Scripting, Test execution, Report Generation and Analysis using the JMeter tool
Experience in Performance Testing of Mainframe applications
Hands-on experience in monitoring, analysing results and reporting performance bottlenecks
Ability to work independently on project performance testing with minimal supervision
Good knowledge on 3-tier architecture, Application and DB layer for good understanding of test environment
Experience in Web, Web-services and Middleware performance testing
Well versed with Effort Estimations based on the NFRs from the client/stakeholders
Experience in setting up the performance test environment, performance testing strategy, Workload Model creation etc
Expertise in analysing system logs and performance test results, application performance
Good experience with monitoring Windows Linux servers and knowledge of Performance tuning
Understands a broad spectrum of technology in order to provide detailed technical design to meet requirements
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively present and share information across a wide array of technical expertise and seniority within the organization
Take ownership of tasks and help set standards and drive delivery

Job Responsibility

Interact with SMEs Business to gather PT/PE requirements
Identifying tools and techniques to improve testing quality and efficiency
Develop performance Test plan, test scripting and conduct technical reviews
Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability
Plans, coordinates and manages a project's overall Performance testing approach, tool capabilities and strategy
Raise issues or concerns to the stakeholders upfront and if required come up with mitigation plan
Collect all metrics (Client Side, Server Side, DB, Network and Load Balancer) and analyse the performance metrics and bottlenecks to suggest corrective actions
Design and create benchmark scenarios and prepare performance benchmark documents
Prepare test summary reports for management review

Experience in Banking/Financial domain

Skills

6+ Years experience in one or more Performance testing tool, like JMeter, Load Runner, Performance Center, etc.
