About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Analyze and comprehend data given in the form of documents and dossiers
2. Draw insights and actionable points from the data
3. Interact with subject matter experts from various fields and verify findings
4. Strategize and plan for primary data collection and monitoring for the same
5. Dissect policy and programs of the government and analyze critically
6. Compile secondary research on the day to day happenings and current affairs
7. Critique government decisions from a legal and regulatory standpoint
8. Compile various policies (provisions, details, modalities) of the state and central government
9. Brainstorm with the team on various interventions that can be suggested for the rural ecosystem across development sectors
10. Detail out findings and suggest interventions to form vision documents
11. Work on project monitoring and evaluation for various developmental agencies
12. Contribute to the creation of fundraising proposals and presentations based on suggested interventions on behalf of a prominent NPO

Other requirements

1. Candidates who are graduates or have an educational background in public policy, politics, economics, history, journalism, mass communication, and law/legal would be preferred

2. Basic understanding of government functioning and procedures

3. Candidate must have his/her own laptop for the period of the internship

4. This is an in-office full-time internship based out of Pune, Koregaon Park

5. Strong command over MS Office - MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint is expected

Additional Information

Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 2 to 4 Lac/annum

PPI/PPOs will be offered on the basis of the performance during the internship. Candidate if selected will be expected to join in 2 working days.
