Qualification : As per State Govt. norms/guidelines and Rehabilitation
Council of India (RCI) approved qualification at secondary and senior
secondary stage, the minimum qualification for the appointment of Special
Educator is as under:
(1) Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education) or
B.Ed (General) with diploma in Special Education or equivalent from a
recognized University/lnstitution. OR
(2) Post Graduate in relevant subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed
(Special Education) or B.Ed (General) with diploma in Special Education or
equivalent from a recognized University/lnstitution. OR (3) Post Graduation in relevant subject with at least 50% marks and diploma
in Special Education or equivalent from a recognized University/
Institution.
(4) Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric standard as one of the subject. Note:
All qualifications in Special Education should be recognized from Rehabilitation
Council of India (RCI),Institutions.
Desirable : 1. Teacher with qualifications in single disability area will be encouraged
to specialize in other disability areas to take care Of wide range of
diversities in a general school. 2. Knowledge of computers.
Salary Range: Rs.20850
Age Limit :18-42 Years.
Application Fee: Application fees (non-refundable) amounting to Rs. 500/- + Bank Charges as applicable for General Category candidates and Rs. 250/- + Bank Charges as applicable for Female/SC/BC/ESM/PHC candidate.
Salary: The post will be filled up on contractual basis on
consolidated salary @ Rs. 20850/- per month initially upto 31.03.2019 only
extendable subject to availability of funds approved by MH RD, Govt. Of
India for the year 2019-2020. As per State Education Policy, the minimum
educational qualification for the post of teacher (TGT) should be minimum
50% marks in Graduation & Post Graduation.
Selection Procedure: Written test will be conducted of objective type through C-DAC, Mohali. The objective type test will be of 100 marks of 2-3 hours durations of two types comprising two sets i.e. aptitude test and test related to field of specialization.
The minimum score will be of 45 for SC/PH and 50 marks for other categories in aggregate out of 100 is required for eligibility. Those candidates, who will qualify the written test, will be called for document verification in the Parishad.
