Position : Executive Business Development

Location : Pune, India

Key responsibilities and accountabilities :

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Manage the receipt, handling and escalation of all sales enquiries
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits.
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain and update database for potential and existing client base.

Desired Skills :

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Computer literate - adept knowledge of MS office and relevant analytical tools
  • Fast learner and excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Marathi, Hindi and English
