As a good career counsellor, you need to help them with services & deliverables provided by the organization.
You will keep yourself updated with industry updates, new developments and policies made by education departments.
You need to research industry segments and competitor company profiles, follow up on leads and opportunities, and coordinate with other teammates for achieving personal & company targets.

Job Description-
Contacting students/parents via outbound/inbound calls for seminars & workshops for the Medical / Engineering /Study abroad admission process.
Respond to enquiries of students (on email/call/walk-ins) and Following up with them to convert aspiring candidates into the prospective lead.
Explaining organization’s services & deliverables and their importance to parents on call & one-to-one counselling session and closing sales.
Helping clients in making action plans for entrance exams, counselling process with help of different technical tools and deliverables of company.
Maintaining counselling records with help of CRM and tracking post-sales services.
Marketing and promoting career counselling related services for increasing office and seminar footfalls.
Managing assigned leads and follow-up by making outbound/inbound calls for conversion.
Undertaking general administration
Required Qualifications:
1) Undergraduate in commerce/science/management, counselling, or related student service area.
2) Hands-on experience of Inbound & Outbound calling.
3) Ability to convert cold calls into sales by providing quality counselling to a very customer base.
4) Strong and effective English communication skill. Regional language(Kannada/Telugu/Tamil) will be an added advantage.
5) Added advantage for experience in a college/university advising, placement office or Ed-tech companies.
6) Strong interpersonal skills and communication techniques.
7) Good Knowledge of MS Office
