We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. As a BDE at FunctionUp, you will be instrumental in driving our growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients and partners, and increasing our market presence. Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Identify and cultivate potential leads through market research, networking, and outreach activities.
Cold Calling: Execute cold calling strategies to identify and engage potential clients, generating leads and opportunities for business expansion.
Pitching Services: Develop and deliver compelling pitches that clearly articulate the value proposition of FunctionUp's educational programs and services to prospective clients and partners.
Client Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and a positive start to the partnership.
Client Acquisition: Drive efforts to meet or exceed sales targets through effective client acquisition strategies and closing sales.
Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential and new clients, fostering trust and long-term collaboration.
Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from clients and prospects to inform and improve pitching strategies, service offerings, and onboarding processes.
Sales Meetings: Schedule and conduct sales meetings with prospective clients, presenting FunctionUp's offerings and negotiating terms to secure new business.
Sales Targets: Achieve predetermined sales targets and performance metrics, contributing significantly to the organization's growth.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to align strategies and enhance the overall effectiveness of business development efforts
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Proven track record in business development, sales, or a similar role, with a strong focus on cold calling, pitching, and client onboarding.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade prospects.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capability to manage multiple leads and clients efficiently.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated, with a drive to exceed sales targets and contribute to the success of the organization.
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
