Position Overview:
We at GoTyolo is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Travel Sales Consultant with 0-2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Travel Tourism Management and some experience in handling Group Inclusive Tours (GITs) or group travel arrangements. As a Travel Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in selling travel packages, creating itineraries, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Customer Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences and requirements. Recommend and sell travel packages, including group and GIT arrangements.
- Itinerary Creation: Develop detailed and customized travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
- Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective sales techniques and proactive client engagement.
- High-Pressure Environment: Thrive in a high-pressure environment, demonstrating resilience and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Passionate for Travel: Show a strong passion for travel and creating memorable experiences for clients.
- Frequent Travel: Be willing to travel frequently to gain firsthand knowledge of destinations and strengthen supplier relationships.
- Supplier and DMC Liaison: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, hotels, airlines, and Destination Management Companies (DMCs) to secure the best deals and experiences for clients.
- Market Research: Keep up-to-date with travel trends and emerging destinations to offer fresh and exciting options to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Travel Tourism Management or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in the travel industry, with some exposure to GITs or group travel.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Target-driven and able to perform well under pressure.
- Passion for travel and creating memorable experiences for clients.
- Basic proficiency in travel booking systems and software.
